We are unfortunately facing a large cost-cutting round at LIFE in 2011. At LIFE, we have to reduce costs by DKK 48 million.

Together with the rest of LIFE's Management, I have tried to explain in a number of "Questions and answers" why we have to cut costs and what the consequences will be for LIFE. I hope that these answers will address many of the questions that you, students and staff at LIFE, may have about the cost-cutting round and the process that will follow.

Some of the questions can be answered accurately already now, while it may not be possible to answer others fully until after the cost reductions have been implemented.

If you have more questions for us, you are welcome to send them, in Danish or English, to . Those of your questions that are relevant to more people at LIFE will be answered and added to the question-answer list, and news will also be published in eLIFE.

Kind regards

Per Holten-Andersen
