Danish Minister opens LIFE seminar on Agribusiness and Economic Development in Africa - 23.10.2009

On 30 October 2009, LIFE- Faculty of Life Sciences at University of Copenhagen will focus on Agribusiness and Economic Development at a seminar which will be opened by Danish Minister for Development Cooperation, Ulla Tørnæs.

 

The seminar follows up on the recommendations by the Africa Commission to create better links between university education, research and business opportunities in agriculture.

 

Speakers include Minister for Development Cooperation Ms Ulla Tørnæs as well as representatives of LIFE’s partner university Sokoine University of Agriculture, DI, Cornell University, FAO, Danida, MYC4 and LIFE.

 

The seminar will be held in English.
