Studying at a Non-Partner University

Students may apply to study abroad at a university with which LIFE or the University of Copenhagen does not have an exchange agreement.

You must apply for admission and for funding on your own. Read more on the International Office of the University of Copenhagen's webpages about how to organise a period of studies abroad at a non-partner university (in Danish), including how to apply for an “internationaliseringstipendium” and an “udlandstipendium”. You are eligible to apply for an udlandsstipendium if you are entitled to receive the Danish Student Grant (SU). The udlandsstipendium can be used to pay for tuition fees.

There are numerous other grants that students can apply for in connection with a study abroad period. For an overview of funding opportunities, see Funding.
