The Director of Studies recommends Blocks 3 and 4 of the second year of studies as the most appropriate time to spend a period of studies abroad. During this time, there is only one required course: Microbiology in Block 3 (7.5 ECTS). Students should try to find a corresponding course in Microbiology at the host university and apply for pre-approval to take the course instead of the course at LIFE.
